Who is Involved?

Leicester motto is Semper Eadem, which means 'Always the Same'. This photography and Oral History project documents fifteen places in Leicester which have not changed for at least 25 years. (Read more)

Cossington Street Swimming Pool, Cossington Street, Leicester. Opened 1894

For a number of years it was the largest municipal pool in England. The site was chosen due to an underground well which still supplies the water to the pool. It continues to be intensively used by the local community.
