Who is Involved?

Leicester motto is Semper Eadem, which means 'Always the Same'. This photography and Oral History project documents fifteen places in Leicester which have not changed for at least 25 years. (Read more)

Kirby and West, Richard III Road, Leicester Established 1868.

Kirby and West have been delivering milk to customers’ doorsteps since 1868. Their electric milk floats were specially designed and built by the company.
